This is easily the best scope I own, and I own 5 (1 being a very early 1st gen purchased 15yrs ago for well over $1000) the image quality is amazing on the ranger, digital vision is lightyears ahead of the old junk with its severe limitations, the range is boarding on crazy, its just awesome, iv viewed in excess of 500yds with perfect clarity. The ajustable IR is teriffic, it realy allows you the fine control that realy seperates the \"toys from the tools\" the monocrome image is 1000x the quality of the old green dinge, although I do have a cpl of green scopes that I love dearly, they are realy no longer used and am looking at giving 1 to my young nephew as an introduction to nightscopes as the ranger is all I now use.
Honestly I cannot fault this device, I never review and on the odd occasion I do its not like this... 5***** all the way, would and continue to reccomend this to everybody
